Liverpool and Tottenham appear to be set for a fight over the “Wild Animal”.
The Real Madrid striker Alvaro Negredo’s whose nickname is “The Wild Animal fo Vallecas” is said to be a £17m target for both clubs.

The player’s agent claims that there are several clubs from Europe interested in the 23 year old, with Spurs at the front of the queue.

Negredo scored 19 goals on loan for Almeira last season, got his nickname from the Vallecas neighbourhood where he grew up in Madrid. He has previously attracted loan interest from Rafa Benitez, but the reports suggest he’s now looking for a permanent deal.

It looks like Negredo is set to leave the Bernabeu having been recalled from his loan spell so that the club could cash in on a player who ended last season as one of the top goalscorers in La Liga.
