Most people would just laugh this one off, but being a football prediction website, we’re predicting that Man City will table a staggeringly stupid £45m offer to Chelsea for their club captain John Terry.

With a seemingly endless supply of cash (perhaps even more endless then Chelsea’s) Man City are waving it around during the summer transfer window in the hope of buying a squad to match their neighbours United.

As daft as it sounds, the Daily Mail are spouting on about the £45m offer, and today’s Sun have stated that both Mark Hughes and JT are staying at the same hotel in Dubai.  Coincidence ? Probably. Having been to the Jumeirah Beach and bumped into Crouchy at the arrivals hall in Dubai, you can’t seem to go two feet without tripping over the Premier League stars over there.

Even with an offer of £180k a week for the England defender, we can’t see him leaving his beloved Chelsea.
